This reminds me of the political committee that tried to also ban Dihydrogen-Monoxide to prevent this lethal chemical from falling into the hands of terrorists. After all, in the wrong hands this stuff could (in its gassius form) strip the skin from your body in seconds. It can stop you from breathing, and in large quantities it is poisonous. I mean, thousands of people every year are killed by this chemical.

Additionally, Aliso Viejo city officials famously came close to banning styrofoam cups in 2004 after hearing that "dihydrogen monoxide" was used in their production.
